While Elder Sign: Omens faithfully captures the essence of the Elder Sign dice game, it has introduced a few notable alterations to enhance the mobile gameplay experience:

• A reduced selection of available Ancient Ones streamlines gameplay while offering adaptable difficulty levels. Challenge Yig in normal mode, or opt for Azathoth or Tsathoggua in hard mode, and face Cthulhu or Ithaqua in very hard mode (in-app purchases needed for facing Cthulhu and Ithaqua).
• Several subtle modifications intensify the danger in defending humanity. For instance, random negative effects drawn every midnight pose greater challenges, with decreased occurrences of "no effect" results. Monsters have also been revamped to heighten their difficulty.
• Notably, there are no Ally cards in Elder Sign: Omens, further simplifying gameplay while increasing the overall level of challenge.
